A Great Day for the Frontline Team with the addition of PLP

DENVER–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Frontline Road Safety (“Frontline” or the “Company”), the leading provider of pavement marking services in the U.S., today announced that it has acquired and partnered with PLP Company (“PLP”), a top pavement marking contractor based in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania. Financial terms of the private transaction were not disclosed.

PLP is a family-owned business that has been in operation for more than 55 years, specializing in pavement marking and removal solutions, including grooved-in markings, wet reflective tape, polyurea, epoxy, thermoplastic, waterborne paint, grinding, and water blasting. A trusted partner to PennDOT, the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, and local general contractors, PLP has built a strong reputation within the surrounding region for its high-quality service, focus on safety, and advanced technology and equipment.

The acquisition/partnership is highly complementary to Frontline’s existing presence in neighboring states, including Michigan and Ohio, enabling potential collaboration on large regional projects and improving its ability to serve customers in the Northeast. This is Frontline’s third acquisition since receiving a strategic growth investment from Bain Capital earlier this year.
